Read BioAt the young age of 4, I started playing in the kitchen. As a hyper-active child, instead of sleeping I was up with my mom and grandmother making desserts, assisting them in holiday meals, helped make gingerbread cookies, rhubarb bread pudding and so much more. I attended the Minneapolis Technical College in St. Paul and graduated at the top of my class. My specialties were cake art assembly, pull sugar artwork, and ice carving. My most memorable time in the kitchen was when I worked at a catered event for Starky corporation, and I was able to meet Ellen DeGeneres, Lou Ferrigno, Carrie Underwood, Alice Cooper, Elton John, Michael Bolton and my other music artists. Outside of work, I enjoy sports, fishing, camping, surrounded by the wilderness which provides a sense of peace. I don’t see myself ever not being in the kitchen, it has been my second home for forty years. |
